Wheather it is necessary to furnish a copy of paper book to the other party before furnishing it to the ITAT (as it is clearly written in the Rule 18 of the ITAT Rules). But somebody told me that it is not the case now a days & the paper book now a days can directly be filed with the ITAT.

It is a practice to file a copy of the paper book with the Departmental Representative also whose office is also generally located at the same premises.
