Quick Summary
It's no longer possible to file an Income Tax Return (ITR) for the Financial Year 2017-18, as the deadline has long passed. While you can't file for that specific year unless you've received a notice and are responding to it, deadlines for subsequent years have been extended. The due date for FY18-19 is now 30th September 2020, and for FY19-20, it's 30th November 2020.

You can not file ITR for F.Y 2017-18 as due date for same is already Passed.
For F.Y 2018-19 due date is extended to 30th September, 2020
And For F.Y 2019-20 it's 30th November, 2020

The deadline of filing ITR for FY 2017-18 was ended 31st August 2018.

If you receive any notice .... you can file that return with your reply..other wise u cannot file return for ay 17 -18.
