get the basic details of members which was used at the time of obtaining PAN, and use that data to register, it will execute, any wrong selection will show as "PAN does not Exist"

It is a case of an Individual. His PAN is duly registered on TRACES site. He is getting his TDS certificates issued through TRACES site. He is able to get Form No. 26AS also from TRACES site but when trying to register on efiling site the message is "PAN does not exist". The assessee contacted efiling help desk who asked to contact NSDL and NSDL told that ti is not its job. The assessee is in a fix. He can not file his return whichhe is required to file electronically mandatorily to claim refund of excess tax deducted. The assessee has lodged grievance on Public Grievance Portal but no response. For no fault of the assessee he is being harassed and no one is there to sort out the issue. When the same PAN is valid for TRACES why it is not so for efiling ?
