We are making TDS payments by e-banking of SBI. There is no provision to enter PAN number in the fields given by bank for making payment. However the paid challan shows the PAN field but we don't have any option to enter number.
Does this create any problem with IT department. In SBI we cannot make manual payments of TDS. We have taken up with bank and are yet to respond to our issue.
Can somebody advise us whether it is ok, if there is no PAN number on paid challan, but TAN is shown.
