Quick Summary
If you're a sole proprietor, your personal PAN (Permanent Account Number) is sufficient for your business. A sole proprietorship and the proprietor are treated as the same legal entity, meaning you don't need a separate PAN for the business itself. Your existing PAN covers all business transactions.
