Proprietorship doesn't have a separate legal identity like company. So you cannot get PAN card in proprietorship firm name.
So, you have to used the PAN of the proprietor in case of proprietorship firm since separate pan card can't be issued becuase of lack of separate legal identity of proprietary concern.
