Dear Sir/Madam,

Could you please guide me should I have to give pan card details to bank for opening saving account because Bank asked me give pan card details or fill form 60 as decalaration for not having pan card.

Some one advice me I can give form 60 if I dont want to share pan card with bank. So I am writing this to get appropriate advice because one question arise in my mind if I give form 60 which we can used only when we have no pan card so please tell me it will be illegal or not if I give form 60 instead of having pan card.

Please note I have not file any IT return in my life becoz my ncome is not taxable.

Thanks

don't worry if you not give the pan card details now.

but when you deposit in bank the amount exceeding the limit presribed by income tax department for banks than you must have to give detail otherwise  higher rate tds will be deducted on interest from deposit  if no pan card is given.

Dear Rahul

Thanks for your advice. So now I can give Form 60 to bank

and I will not deposit in bank the amount which exceeding the limit presribed by income tax department for banks.

One more think I want to know Bank send form 60 details to Income Tax Office or Not. I think they send.

Because frorm 60 is only for those who have not pan card please clarify this.

Thanks
