Pan card issue

Their is no such problem. Your PAN No. should be correct in all the documents.

But in the application form it is written as given below

Individual applicants are allowed to provide abbreviated 'Name to be printed on the card'. The abbreviated name should necessarily contain the expanded Last Name/Surname.
For example:
Last Name/Surname        First Name        Middle Name  
SAMUEL     ROY     JAMES
can be written as,
ROY JAMES SAMUEL
R. J. SAMUEL
ROY J. SAMUEL


Is this means i cant write Maneesh Kumar P

First name: Maneesh

Middle name : Kumar

Lastname/surname : P (pallikkal)

Yes, i think you are right. you have to give you full last name as given in instructions.

Their is no need to worry as all your other documents contain abbreviated surname since in ITR and other documents what is required is correct PAN no.

But many of my friends having their initials in PAN card , but they dont remeber how they given in the applications.two of my friends haveing their name with initials in their pan card.suppose if am applying with my full name and display name as maneesh kumar P will it be a problem?i mean will the application got rejected?wats ur suggestion?

You can apply for correction using correction form with supporting ID for name there is an option for name to be printed on card if you need diffrent name fo more info visit PAN CARD ISSUES AND HOW TO'S
