MY MOTHER HAVE TO APPLY FOR PAN CARD BUT SHE IS NOT ABLE TO SIGN ON THE FORM OF PAN CARD. SHE GIVES ONLY FINGERPRINT FOR PAN CARD.
PLEASE TELL ME IS SUCH PROVISION AND WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR APPLYING PAN APPLICATION FOR NON SIGHNER APPLICATION.

Yes you can apply for PAN with thumb impression. Get a certificate from a gazetted officer. If you have any clarification you can contact PAN centres in your area
You can take a thumb impression (left thumb) and then get the PAN form notarised. It shall be sufficient.
