AT THE TIME OF PAN APPLICATION DATE OF BIRTH WAS WRONGLY FILLED.

NOW I GOT THE PAN CARD

WHETHER IT IS NECESSARY TO RECTIFY THE PAN DATA.

WHAT WILL BE THE EFFECT IF I NOT CHANGE THE SAME.

there may be some wrong effetc of the same if u dont do the rectification, becoz if u wont change it then it will mismatched with ur other proofs which u submitt at somewhere. it will be better to submit form 49 A for rectification, it is quite simple

Correction should be made in such respect coz if it not made it definitely created problem in future.

It MIGHT AFFECT THE AGE RELATED BENEFITS like Senior Citizen Slab, Higher Mediclaim Deduction, etc

Agreed with All. you must file a correction. Otherwise It Will Create Problems For u. It Serves as you identification. When you Apply for anything It Require Pan No. Say Driving License, visa, Passport etc.

if you are nri for 2009-10& you have the income which is taxable in india then you are required to file return upto 31st july 2010 & you must first estimate your tax liabilty if such tax liabilty exceed 5000 than yoa are also required to pay advance tax

you should file :-itr1 -if youhave salary & interst income

itr4 -for business incime

hiya pawan

it is necessary to rectify the date of birth as it wud effect to ur other proofs also which u r going to submitt elsewhere it wud mismatch the date of birth and it may create problem to u

and it is so easy to rectify this mistake by just filling form no.49A which is for rectification of error
