My PAN and Aadhaar are shown to linked in the Income Tax website whereas, they are shown to be not linked at like 
Do I need to LINK them both at utiitsl also ? Please explain the reason for this difference, and the ways to rectify them.

The PAN might have applied from NSDL and not from UTI.
So try from NSDL , you may get the answer
