PAN A.O. Code Query????

Mr. A applied for PAN and got one with letter from ITD
which contains his Assessing Officer Code [as ITO WD 44(3)], while registering
his PAN online Mr. A discovered that his Jurisdiction (A.O. Code)
as per ITD (in his account) is different [as ITO WD 38(2)], what should Mr. A
do now???

website usually displays the correct information so he has to take that code itself

It does not matter, there is only one thingh should have to see, Mr. A is paying his liability(Tax).

Yes, website shows a correct one. Please use that.

Contact in the Income Tax Office with the AO as per ITD database. You may also write a letter to the AO.

May also contact PAN Grievances.

first u can change Jurishdiction then submit the e-return of assessee unless the refund is not received in time
