Hello friends and seniors :) :) . I'm an IPCC student who beleives in self study. My query to all of you is whether can I pass using P.C.Tulsian's Costing and F.M books. I am really fond of that book as I can understand everything well in that book . But I'm confused whether I'll be able to clear the exams using this book. It would be of great help if seniors and friends advice me as to what I'm dong is the right thing. Are there people who have studied just Tulsian's books and passed CA IPCC?? I really like this book and when I see Paduka's costing book I feel its not for self study and also I don't get confidence in the subject. Please help. I studied myself for ipcc exams following PC Tulsian books for Accounting & Costing & FM...
i got exemption in both the subjects....... Accounting - 68 , Costing & FM - 66
It will definitely help you for self study...Apart from marks it provides a great amount of subject knowledge.

but whatever you do.. dont ignore ICAI TEXTBOOK AND PRACTICE MANUAL..
Sometimes the explanation given in ICAI books is much better than other books
