experts kindly help. while filing tds return one challan was overbooked so i corrected the statement online and move the deductee row from overbooked challan to challan with balance. however the request was rejected stating reason "available balance in oltas". what does this means. and kindly tell that a tds return can be corrected multiple times or not.

Make the deductee 0 in the overbooked challan with the amount equal to the difference in the actual payment of challan and amount mentioned in the statement. then add new deductee to the challan available in balance. Moreover you can make online correction one time with valid to valid pan and two times correction from invalid to valid..
