Hello,
I have recevied one notification (through incometaxefilling website) from income tax and stating that outstanding demand amount is Rs.4000 for AY2007-08. Currently i don't have form-16 or returns hard copies with me to check the amount.
Can i know further action plan to clear this issue.

alternate you will have to go to AO and get details of the demanda and then compare it will whatever data you can get from your account statement
