Outstanding tax demand

Hi,

I am in Bangalore and am seeing an outstanding tax demand for the AY 2012-13 in the online portal but the same has been paid while filing the IT returns and it is reflecting in TRACES as well.

please let me know what should i do to remove it from online portal.

Note: They are not accepting online request since the IT was filed through an agent. They are asking to contact the local AO.

If the return was filed manually i.e. offline than you should go to income tax office along with relevant documents and informed to assessing officer regarding outstanding tax demand . The concerned officer may further guide you may update the data accordingly.
