I did efiling for assessment year 2015-16 in August this year. On 1st october i got a letter from IT departement mentioning that there was some "Outsatnding demand" whoch would be adjusted against the refund i am supposed to get since i have paid TDS. By mistake i clicked on "Agreed" option, whereas i have filed my returns all the past years. when i go on rectification request to correct the option i clicked it shows no record. Can i know what is the procedure for it.

Log on to Efiling --> Helpdesk--> Submit greivance-->Give AY-->category select Demand--> select sub category. Write what has happened.

irrespective of you have filed all the returns on time, first please check for which year the demand is and check your records to see if it is correct.
