Order of E-Verifying Orginal and Revised return matter?

The order in which you e-verify your original and revised tax returns generally doesn't matter, as long as both are e-verified within the stipulated timeframes. However, the timing of filing the revised return can be crucial. For AY 2022-23, revised returns can be filed until 31st December 2022. If an original return isn't processed due to non-verification and you subsequently verify the revised return, it might be processed with a late fee.
