Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to properly record online sales made through third-party apps where payment is handled by the app. The consensus is that a sales entry in your accounts is mandatory, whether it's automated through your CRM or entered manually into your ERP. It's recommended to create a sales invoice based on the transaction and then record the payment once the funds appear in your bank statement, referencing the bank transaction ID.

Depends on the crm your using. If it directly sends the sale amount to accounts deptartment, no need to do anything. If not enrer it manually into erp books

Not possible.

These call centers i heard book large volumes of sales daily. Now what happens to that? Is just for billing information whilst online payments are directly accounted yo sales probably? Anyways, manual entry or automated entry into sales book is mandatory. Proforma invoice can be converted to sales invoice. Then when you receive your sales amount, put in bank transaction id in the receipts voucher.

Call centres does not come into question
First account the sales entry based on invoice and payment entry based on bank statement

Thats what I said to the querist, if it is tally, change proforma to invoice.

Proper entry in books of accounts possible.
