ONLINE CPT
With a view to accommodate the candidates who could not register themselves in the Online
CPT scheduled on 23rd – 24th October 2010, the Council of the Institute has decided to hold additional
Online Common Proficiency Test (CPT) as per the following details.

Candidates intending to appear in Online CPT from the above cities will be required to fill up
examination form Online at https://cptonline.icai.org.
The medium of test for Online CPT would be ENGLISH only.

ONLINE CPT
The candidates intending to take the Online CPT shall be required to fill in the Online
examination application form with requisite fees and the facility for Online filling up of examination
form would be made available as indicated below:-
Date of Test 25th October 2010, 26th October 2010
Eligibility(registered in CPT Course on or before ) August 2nd, 2010
Commencement of online filling up of application form 5th October 2010
(From 10:00 hrs)
Last Date* 9th October 2010
(upto 17:30 hrs)
* The online application form for the Test may be closed prior to the above Last Date in case
the seats available at a particular centre are completely filled up.
A candidate can appear in Common Proficiency Test two times in a period of six months i.e.
once in Online test either in July, September, or October 2010 and once in Paper Pencil mode CPT in
December, 2010.
The decision of the Institute to admit a candidate in either the Online Test in October, 2010 or
Paper-Pencil Mode Test in December-2010 is final and no correspondence for change of Test / Centre
etc. will be entertained under any circumstances.
