Mr. A ( proprietor) has two different nature of businesses with two different names, should he hold single TIN for both businesses with different names or can he have two different TIN numbers for different name of businesses. |

normally Two seperate TIN is issued, but they are marked as related (unattached) establishments. before issue of fresh TIN officer ask the owner to merge both business under single name, however on documentary evidence subject to satisfaction of officer, they issue a seperate TIN, but both are always clubbed for the purpose of department
One Pan One Tin, one ID concept works everywhere, but under exceptional circumstances, two TIN are issued,
say one person has one business with a TIN on his pan card, and due to family inheritence he got another firm with another TIN, so he would be asked to merge the new TIN to old one, however if the nature of business and other situations are different and it would not be possible for the person to merge, then both will be marked under same PAN, but would be viewed as one identity for departmental purpose.
