Hi.. I want an advice on what to do now...

I am pursuing CA final now. I had a smooth ride till IPCC I also got into a small firm for articles, where I got somewhat of an okay exposure. I completed my articles in 2016, and I have been writing final (6 times it has been) since then, with just an exemption on hand in G2. I didn't work anywhere till now (except for 2 months), but, a couple of days ago, I joined in a KPO, basically where a lot of CA final students were working. But the domain I am put is different from what I was said as I would be put into. And I don't think there is going to be any growth in this line. I also wanted to be in IB line. What do I do?

Should I write 1 or 2 grps now? I can't quit job (have notice period) immediately. So pls guide me. How to get into investment banking? Will the KPO experience be a negative in my resume on a later date?

Let me put my thoughts in points.
1. You have an exemption on hand in G2 combined with your job. My suggestion would be to go for G2 first and clear it in this attempt for sure.

2. Any work experience is better than NO work experience. So nothing negative about your KPO job. Just make sure you take out enough time for your CA Final studies. Also, working full time along with CA is very very difficult. So unless it is Absolutely necessary, one should focus on exams than work.

3. IB is a very glamorous and hip field nowadays. But entry there for CAs is not easy as it seems. Firstly, very low chances that they take freshers, they always require a Work ex of 2-3 years. Plus a lot of people in this field are from IIT-IIM and Ivy league Colleges, so a degree like CFA(US) can help a CA to get into, and sustain in IB.
