Yes, Vedanta. Students now can expect to get the photo copy of their answer sheet in CBSE or any other exam. Since it is supreme court decision, it is more or less final. It will also ensure that the examiners would be more careful in checking the answer sheets and awarding or totalling the marks. This might delay the results, initially. But post-results, now the work for the bodies conducting exam will increase manifold and forever. I am sure the decision applies to the exams whose results ae just declared and not prospectively. I am sure that over 25% of the failed students plus the students who  have passed but not happy with their marks in one or more subjects will apply - some just unnecessary- for revaluation and safegurads need to be built against its misuse. Also there will be long delay by the time a student gets to see hi answersheets and lots of disputes after he sees them. But overall, a long overdue and welcome decision.

Sir, are the decisions of the Supreme Court only prospective or do they have retrospective effect????
