I am an individual having business income for the A.Y 2021-22 .I filed my return of income under old regime as i could not opt for the new regime u/s 115BAC since the return of income was filed belatedly . From the A.Y 2022-23 i decide to opt for filing under the new regime and continue the same for the subsequent years. Whether i can change the tax regime in the A.Y.2022-23.

Yes you can do it
Yes you can do only once, a non-salaried taxpayer (taxpayers with an income from business or profession) cannot opt-in and opt-out of the new tax regime every year
