OFFMARKET SALE OF SECURITIES

gud day all,

pls let me know if shares r sold in offmarket, (stt and brokerage paid) is a STCG or not.

if its a STCG,  how to calculate the profit from the sale transaction  since purchase value could not be found thro the holding statements.

 

if not, it should be treated as income from other sources
