Yes, if total taxable income earned/accrued in India, exceed basic exemption limit.

My Concern is, I am sending money to India for investment purpose, and I am investing in some properties.

So, how govt. knows that, the money which I invested from foreign remittance?

you are supposed to change your resident savings, demat accounts to NRI accounts. That is one way for the govt to know. otherwise sometimes u are asked to declare your status in the contract.
