Anyone can help me with how to register an NRI at traces since it has no aadhar card and no TDS is deducted by the deductor. NRI wants to apply for a nil rate of deduction under section 197 of the Income Tax Act.

You can register on the TRACES NRI portal using your PAN and by validating your profile via existing TDS data or personal details. Once active, you can apply for a lower TDS certificate under Section 197 by filing Form 13 online, using a Digital Signature (DSC) or EVC (via internet banking) to verify the application.
