can an employer claim the mandatory NPS contribution first towards 80ccd(1b)and thereafter the balance towards 80ccd(1).

EMPLOYEES can claim deduction u/s 80CCD(1) as well as 80CCD(1B) as such contributions are made by employees.

My query is whether emplpyee can firstly prefer to claim deduction u/s 80ccd(1b) and then u/s 80ccd(1).

Hi All, I paid NPS contribution on 31st March 21 and again on 3rd April 21.
Can I claim total exemption in ITR of last year. Please advise. Thanks
