Notification regarding Title to be used by
ISA Qualified Members- D.I.S.A. (ICAI)
TheCouncil, at its281st Meeting held on October 3-5, 2008 noted that as per Schedule ‘F” to the
Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 members who qualify the Post Qualification Course in
Information Systems Audit is entitled to use the title D.I.S.A. (ICA) after their names while the title is
D.I.R.M. (ICAI) and D.I.T.L. (ICAI) for other Post Qualification Courses.
The Council, after due consideration, decided to change, under Regulation 205, the sub-title
“(ICA)” to “(ICAI) for all Post Qualification Courses, including Post Qualification Course on
Information Systems Audit, to bring uniformityacross all post qualification courses.
In view of the above all ISA Qualifiedmembers are requested to use the titleD.I.S.A. (ICAI),
henceforth.
