I have shifted from chennai to New Delhi. Now i am PAN is assessed to New Delhi IT. Scrutiny for the AY 13-14 is going at New Delhi.
Toady i have received a notice u/s 143(2) of the IT Act from Chennai for the AY 14-15. Is this notice Valid as per Law. Please advise me how to proceed further.

As the PAN jursidiction is still lying in ITO, Chennai, notice issued is valid as per Law. After the your request letter for transfer of case from Chennai to New Delhi, the file will move physically to New Delhi, where scrutiny assessment will be completedl
As the PAN jursidiction is still lying in ITO, Chennai, notice issued is valid as per Law. After the your request letter for transfer of case from Chennai to New Delhi, the file will move physically to New Delhi, where scrutiny assessment will be completed. If the ITO, Chennai completes the scrutiny assessment in your case , then you can challange the validity of the assessment.
