I have filled my I.T. Return of Income Tax as on 18th Dec, 2014 . of my partnership firm.for the Assessment Year 2014-15. The department issued me Notice u/s 143(2) and 142 (1) on 06/05/2016 . the lnotices were received by me on 11/05/16. I think the said notices are time barred. Now what I have to do against above notices. Kindly guide Me .

You need only to give a reply to the department that the notice is time barred they will drop the assesment proceesings but they may issue 147 notice ( re-assesment).
