Not receiving email OTP on time when verifying representative assessee request

Hi All,

I'm trying to register a representative assessee on the portal. However for verifying the request it needs a mobile OTP and e-mail OTP. I'm receiving the mobile OTP without any delay but not getting the e-mail OTP within the 15 min time limit after which the OTP expires. The registered e-mail is a Gmail id. I've checked the Spam and Junk folders as well.

Anybody else facing a similar issue? I've tried multiple times but have faced this issue with e-mail OTP every time so far. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Email OTP takes about an hour, or even more. Verify with mobile OTP or get Aadhar OTP they are just 6 digits.

Thanks for your prompt reply. The problem when verifying representative assessee registration request is that there's no option to choose between Aadhaar OTP or any other type. Both mobile OTP and e-mail OTP are mandatory for verification!!

Yeh. Wait for system to stabilize. Till then file grievance, if they can expedite the solution.

Yesterday Email OTP received after 6 hours!!!

Try to do registration after 10pm , you will receive email otp.
