In new itr forms 2012-13, it is not possible to enter non-micr account. Even if we select "No" for deposit directly into account, it will ask us to enter MICR Code. It is not validating. But many branches of banks except main cities don't have MICR Code. How to enter those accounts. I tried by entering "000000000" in MICR Code, it is validating. Is it right? or any other way to solve bug in the ITR forms?

Every bank branch has MICR code. In cheque leaf 1st no. is cheque no. & 2nd no. is MICR, ask your clients if he is using MICR cheque. Or you can check it from the attached file. Hope your problem will be solved. To view MICR Code Select your bank, city etc. Thanks.
