hello friends... These days most of the people are getting letters from the department for not filing of ITR. After getting this one should file the return with appropriate info. Now i want to ask that in case we can not file return of a particular year,then how to reply.??? suppose i get a notice at this point of time for non filing of ITR for ay 11-12,12-13,13-14. now i can not file ITR for Ay 11-12,12-13. and tds was also deducted in those years. How should i manage it....??? Also tell me possible solution if i received letter online on my income tax portal in 'compliance submit'. thanks

Dear Garvit

just fill the information in compliance section after login as follows

Assessment year Response Reasons

2011-12 i have not filed Others

2012-13 i have not filed Others

2013-14 (first file ITR) filed others

in reason box given below of that window : i have paid tax through TDS as deducted by my employer.

Threreafter wait and watch. apart from this you have no solutions.

Dear sir...thanks. There must b sm tax payable by me for AY 11-12 year cz tds was deducted @ 1% u/s 194C. I can prepare computation statement and pay d appropriate tax. But the problem is where should i send explanation cz i hv not received letter physically. Hope u got my problem
