Non Assessee registration

Hi All

I have made Non assessee registrationfor Central excise. I have got registration number as [PAN NUMBER]CE001

But when I tried to confirm this number ( as Assessee number ) on NSDL site. It gives number not found error .

Please help.

Any person who wants to make payment of Central Excise duty or Service Tax and is not a registered assessee will also have to get a registration done through the concerned jurisdictional Commissionerate who shall be termed as Non-assessee.

If you are unable to see the details on NSDL, kindly contact the concerned jurisdictional Commissionerate, they shall nicely co-operate or call to tollfree no. 1800 425 4251 or you may e-mail your query to aces.servicedesk @ icegate.gov.in to resolve this particular query.

Dear All,

please tell me how to withdrow Non Assessee registration under service tax and what are the legal comliances for such registration.

further if such assessee gets registerd under service tax and issued ST-2 then how he shoud deal with such non assessee registration.
