No theory question ?

other impt thng i notice is that impression president was imposing on practical part of CA ...so i believe new pattern will be somethng like that ...no option+no theory question .....it will make me happy

yes, as per notification it seems so... that is income tax, coxting, etc will have practical Qs,... and audit and law too will have practical cases...

And yes, its goin to benefit us all a lot... Coz our articleship tenure is so long, that v get various practical aspects to learn, and v cn impose them overthere....

i think the notification is applicable to theory subjects like audit, law etc. so instead of asking purely theoretical questions there, we will be asked the practical aspects of the various sections. but as for cost or mafa or accounts, i don't think they are going to scrap theory. 

but that's what i think. if anyone finds out anything let the rest of us know. 

i have mailed the institute ....hopefully they do reply with some positive news..

i have query regarding latest announcement issued by insitute on 30/09/09 ...i am CA final student old course ...in latest announcement it was mention that all questions are going to be compulsory and institute is going to focus on practical questions ....so my querry is whether we are going to get theory part in mafa, accounts and costing ? is it means we will get more practical case laws in audit and law and lessen theory questions? it is very important for institute to enlighten us regarding new pattern we are going to get in our exams ...so that we can focus on impt factor instead of studying things which institute dont consider impt ....insitute new announcement have left whole CA students in very confused position and we expect some clear clarification from insitute....it just 1 month to our exams and new announcement has really shook our studies ....i behalf on whole CA student community expect some clear announcement from institute

arent they both the samethng ? what questions on practical training they can ask us ? i have no idea ...every student have obtain different article firm...some dont have audit experience (in short tax field or vice versa) ... i strongly believe they mean practical questions not questions on practical training

• Practical question doesnot means practical sums only..
• It means practical oriented questions including  practical oriented theories

but in costing i dont think we get practical oriented related theories ...do we ?

i have learned in taxation area only

my ca doesn;t involve any article in audits etc
