Shocked to see 200 to 250 Chartered accountants attending an interview at Hyd for a night shift job.

Every now and then I see posts blaming ICAI, its curriculum, structure etc.

First of all ICAI does not guarantee anything upon completion of the course. It’s a certificate which empowers the student to work in this field as a professional. The student makes a future out of it with his abilities.

After passing, the student starts at the bottom of the pyramid. Progress depends on how he builds up his expertise in the subject.

Many think that passing the exams is the end of their student life and they should be handed over a fat pay cheque for this achievement.

But the reality is different. To build your way up you have to keep learning everyday to stay a notch above the rest. Otherwise you will be caught up in the basement of the pyramid with basic/dated monotonous work which leads nowhere.

Surely, as you invest in yourself, your earnings will also increase with time. Further, there is no dearth of opportunities for competent professionals.

So, instead of pointing somewhere else, why don’t we occupy ourselves in polishing up the skills?

If u want please motivate the people to qualify their exam.. Please dont disturb us before exams ..

The campus placements are indeed very bad and salary offers are very weak too.

                 i read your post & felt a quite pity of you , because you are blaming indias top level education i.e., C.A.  please dont blame without knowing the facts , in may2016 attempt my friend passed the ca final after 5tf attempt & now he was employwd in hyd. in a medium based firm and earning 60,000 per month , here quality , skill matters not the attemps & % , and my another friend after completing his articles he was earning 30000 per monh as a articled asst. many of the top leaders & industrialists are charterd accountants like

ca kumara mangalam birla - aditya group idea cellular

ca sathya raghu founder of cosmos green

ca mohandas pai ex cfo of  infosys

ca tn manoharan padmashree awardee

ca suresh prabhu railway minister

ca piyush goyal power minister   ..........................

please dont blame ca education

in your case i think you are lack of professional skill  & lack of expertise knowledge & i think you had a very very much of by heart study so my request is you can leave your ca profession & kindly join engeeniring.................
