Quick Summary
If you're a government employee living in a rented home and haven't received House Rent Allowance (HRA), you can still claim a deduction under Section 80GG. To do this, you must first file Form 10BA through the income tax portal. This can be done even after the initial due date, as long as it's before the extended deadline for filing your tax return.

Yes it can be claimed since it is required to be filled before due date of return filing. since due date is extended till 31.12.3021 so you can file form 10BA now and claim this deduction under section 80GG.
