NEW TDS CERTIFICAT

As per the new TDS certificate format requirements , Acknowledgement no. are mandatory to mention on Certificate for the financial year 2006-07. Thus these certificates should also bear these no's.

Basically, the purpose of the Incometax department is to verify all the payments made by deductors through E-TDS returns by simply getting the provisional acknowledgement no's.This amendment has been made to facilitate the Government to issue Refunds early and directly to Deductees without fail by simply verifying the correct deductions and remittances by the deductors.
So it's very useful for every one to mention these no.'s on certificates

i had recently submitted tds at axis bank they had given me acknowledgement but in that there is now acknowledge number can any one suggest where can i find acknowlegde number
