2. STCG -15% & LTCG - 10% (Beyond 1 Lakh) is the tax working for Share sales capital gains, is the same still applicable in New Tax Regime?

Thanks,

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies queries regarding the New Tax Regime in India. It confirms that individuals without business income can switch between the old and new tax regimes multiple times. For those with business income, switching back to the old regime is only possible once after opting for the new one, as per Budget 2023 changes. Importantly, the tax rates for Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG) and Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG) on share sales remain the same under both tax regimes.

1.) A person not having business income can move.

2. yeah same is applicable.

1. See, If a businessman already choose New Tax Regime than he have only one chance to go into Old TAx Regime.
