New study materials for May 11 Exams

Yes me too..there is so mcuh about IFRS..where to study that from? 

i had goan through few subejct 

isca :-   if u have updated module for nov,2010 then u need to revise chapter 4 and 8 from the new material just download it from the icai site , practical manual is nothing but question answer format

idt  and dt  prefer the books rather than module

costing no changes just practical manual is added having more problems and solution and can be use as a guidance

however no need to buy this u can read them by downloading it from the site bcause even if u buy  u cant read them more than once , so its better to read it from the modules and for revision u can use the practical modules

For DT & IDT  all  can download supplementary study material available in ICAI website for may,11 exam . It is with examples and only 75 pages for idt and 70 for dt.

Any changes are there for First grp - new course?

there is a extra reading material for claw ...its must read for allied laws

CAN U TELL  ME LINK  DIRECT TAX BCAUSE ITS CONSIST OF 63 PAGES AS U R TALKING FOR 70 PAGES IS THIS THE SAME ...

Whether Volume - II and Practise Manuals are one and the same?

I thought Practise Manuals are nothing but revised latest Compilations upto 2010 exams.

& whether study modules issued by Institute also includes Practise Manuals as a Volume - II with the Modules?

An also pls tell me if u get to know abt all other changes in other subjects of CA Final.

Hi.. there is big confusion among us regarding the shifting to the New course as NOV 2010 was the last attempt of CA final Old syllabus.... 

on calling to the institute the person over there is giving different information to all, it says that 31st Jan 2011 is the  last date to submit application along with the DD of Rs.1100/- for shifting to new syllabus and get new study materials, it is mandatory ... and to some it says that it is not mandatory.

please guide me as today is 27th and we have sat n sunday in b/w.

pls give the exact information if u r aware. 

@ Jenny After 1.2.2011 DT N IDT Practise Modules will be out for students( i went 2 icai n confirmed it personally)

... & instead of using net it will good if u buy a copy frm ICAI bcozit is mor than 150 pgs each (approx) so its economical 2 purchase it for 150/-Rs per Manual.

For IDT i m using Bangar n also new practise manual for dt n idt .I will be appearing for May'11 wat abt u both grps? 

I hve done enough research n finally Bangur was confirmed to b a better option  thn others.Keep in touch.

For Dt i had started frm very begning n used V.K.Singhania as i lik tht bks apprach n wantd 2 go in Detial

bt considering dTime Factor avaliablein ur case for may'11 i think either of Girish Ahuja or Vinod Gupta will along wit
