New service tax registration

Dear All,

I have taken a service tax registration against GTA , business oxiliary and service & maint., while selection of services I did not found any service to select, find out only one service "other than nagative list" and I had selected this one.

Now My query is, at the time of online payment I will have to select only one service "other than nagative list" or will select all these three services.

please reply as early as possible.

Hi,

Service tax department is bringing back the old service codes. So if you have registed for servicetax under the head - other that negative list, contact your range officer. He may guide you to add services.

Pay your service tax under the appropriate head / accounting code only.

Payment needs to be done under appropriate code only. As for registration, it needs to be amended to include all the services that are provided or received by you from the list of 120 services given. However, the modified registration form is yet to come.
