New service tax registration

Hi,

Service tax department is bringing back the old service codes. So if you have registed for servicetax under the head - other that negative list, contact your range officer. He may guide you to add services.

Pay your service tax under the appropriate head / accounting code only.

Please refer - CIRCULAR NO. 165/16/2012

Payment needs to  be done under appropriate code only. As for registration, it needs to be amended to include all the services that are provided or received by you from the list of 120 services given. However, the modified registration form is yet to come.
