Can a new registration be taken with the same PAN number for which registration has been cancelled under Sumoto? I think I need to take a new registration on the same PAN number now. Tell me about

You can apply for a new GST registration with the same PAN after a suo moto cancellation, but your application will be subjected to strict scrutiny. It is highly advisable to first clear all pending liabilities and compliance defaults, or consider applying for the revocation of your original cancelled registration.
