i am having single digit surname ID proof , but I am not able to fill the PAN application data . if I entered single digit of surname in middle name it is asking for first name . here last or surname showing mandatory how can I apply for pan card with single digit surname

There should be full name.Try to find if you have any proof which has full name.

Take gazetted officer certificate for full name .Apply for PAN .
