my client newly want to take GST REGISTRATION FOR contract (i.e, civil contract works for public as well as municipality bridge, road,govt construction work) . what hsn code we have to choose?

work contract give me example and treatment accounting
For work contract no HSN Code is there. You have to choose SAC Code for it.
when i try 9954 series services i cannot find.
in their list only

Dear MURALIDOSS...
At the time of New Registration you ll use this code. Bcoz, GST portal not update the New SAC codes.
But, Use the new code for the business Transactions...

Agreed with RAJA you have to give old code in GST Registration & thereafter use new cod.e
