Well as the syllabus is new and the paper pattern is unknown the result will be somehow negative in the new course . I'll recommend you to give examination under old course only as the chances of passing will be high as the exam pattern is known.
1. Go to ICAI website 2. click on e-services 3. Click on student dashboard.... on the top of right side 4.register with portal by clicking on existing students...... 5.Then login & look for ' conversation from old to new final' & click on apply 6. Fill the form and Submit 7. After few days login again & check for the letter & confirmation, If it's there, then you are converted to new syllabus:) 8. if it's not there, Then call to your respective regional ICAI Office, Ask them to confirm & For letter Gud luck:)
@ Shivani Rawat I agree with TEJAS ATTARDE with regard to procedure to be follow for conversion from old to new and i also agree with the suggestion given by CA Sunil Kumar. I suggest you please take decision with cool mind and prouper thinking
even im a Ca final old syllabus student and i have given my 1st group this may 2018. after looking at the level of difficulty in Law and SFM paper, when compared to relatively lower difficulty paper from new syllabus, i am also dual minded whether to convert or not. Guidance and advice are required. thanks.
Whether its old syllabus or new, The level of difficulty will be same in both the cases,
But If someone ascertains the contents of new syllabus more interesting, Then he/She may switch over to new syllabus :)
