I am filling new 23AC form for f.y 2011-12. While filling balance shhet format as per new Sch. VI (pg. no. 5 of form), form is not accepting negative figure for reserves & surplus. Even help file for the form is not saying anything about it. Revised Sch. VI says even reserve & surplus is negative figure it shold be on liabilities side under reserves & surplus. How to fill same in new 23AC? Pls guide if some1 is filling new 23AC.
No. The new 23 AC is certianly accepting the negative figures in the reserve and surplus block.You just need to type the minus sign before the figure .And moreover the figure for reserves and surplus always appeares on the liabitlities side to the Balance sheet.Try this.
yes u can download the form again from MCA website and go ahead with filing..

new problem : our company is partner in a partnership firm. The balance on 31.3.2011 was say -2000/- (negative) while on 31.3.2012 it is +5000/- (positive) but form 23AC is not accepting negative amount in Non-current Investments, what to do ? else suggest some other head under which investment in partnerhship firm may be shown
