While filing 10 IE form online for Salaried Individual opting for NEW TAX Regime and having No income from Business or Profession. Select NO in section (Whether individual has income under Business or Profession) Even if NO is selected Portal ask for Selection criteria for Nature of Business or Profession and without selecting criteria it doesn’t get saved or completed it shows error.
Should a Salaried Individual having no income from Business or Profession have to select Criteria . If yes what should be the selection should we select Other services and in again sub sector other services n.e.c. (21008).
If not selected it shows error it doesnt get saved.
No one has clarified why should we select catergory if there is no business income for salaried individual.
Can any body please help. There is no clarity and many are confused
