In my 26 AS the SFT filer bank has recorded a whooping amount with a negative sign under SFT 005 time deposit for AY 2021-22. Last year my previous bank got merged with this new bank(SFT filer)and all my acs(FD and others) had migrated to this bank..And I did not open new TD worth more than 10 L with this bank.So,what may be the explanation of this amount with -ve sign showing in SFT and what should I do about it?
Not to worry for such negative transactions. When you have not opened any new FD; you can reply accordingly.
Its Banks' internal adjustment.
Reply to whom?Do I need to write a mail to bank requesting rectification?
