Need your suggestions please!

My first attempt for both groups was May 2013 and it turned out to be bad. I was confident on clearing the 1st group but my marks in Costing and Tax were well below my expectations(20-30marks) as i had also looked at the suggested answers. I was short by 10 marks in aggregate and i heard Verfication may not help much. I'm down right now because i was sure of passing 1st group in May attempt, so i have decided to write only one group in November.

Can you please tell me which group to write?I thought i will write 2nd group in November and 1st group in May 2014. Will there be a lot changes in 2014 exams?

My suggestion to you know it happens like this icai. . dont be down .. . relax and start again

It is better to write 1st grop first and later sencond group . . .

My suggestion would be give both the groUps in nov 13 since u have already prepared for group1 before just revise it now and concentrate on 2nd group.

K.. it happens. See, icai wants professional answers. Many students know the content but lack in presentation. Also mugging up in conceptual subjects like costing, fm, tax doesnt help at all. Go for a private coaching where the teacher could give you personal attention to weed out your errors. If youre in bangalore I could help you with the same. 07411055313

Dont get disheartned, ca is a premier commerce stream course, hard work will be needed. :)

For that you can check the icai website. But your main aim should be to find a private tutor who will give you personal attention and clarify conceptual difficulties.

Since the costing paper was easier(when compared to the previous years) i think the correction was strict. Dont lose confidence.Go for both the Groups! But focus on G1 so that you can start articleship soon.
